I occasionally lead workshops in the Eastern Sierra, and one of my favorite stops is Bodie. This is a ghost town that is left in an arrested state of decay by the California Park Service.

I happened to be in a ghost town on Halloween this day! The lighting was perfect, as if I was in a studio. This is a straight photo with no manipulation. It is one of my personal favorites from 2012.
