Wine country is very colorful in the fall. Different grape varieties and micro-climates turn color at different points throughout the season. Some vineyards will have lost their leaves while others are only starting to change color. On this partly cloudy day, I waited as the light varied in intensity as the sun peeked between clouds. At this moment, the sun brought out the vibrancy of the scene.

This was the last time I shot film at the same time I shot digital. It turns out the digital version caught the best light in this case. This is one of my all-time best-selling prints.
