PRIVATE CLASSES & CUSTOM WORKSHOPS

If your schedule doesn't fit the workshop schedule or you want specific instruction in a location, then you can design your own workshop. These workshops can be one-on-one or small groups. Lance can travel anywhere (he has a passport and speaks Spanish and French). Below are some ideas for workshops that he can offer in regions he knows, to give you an idea of the things you can do.

Location, Length, and Topics chosen by you.

The workshop can take place anywhere in the World. Lance knows many great places to photograph in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. The length and topics are up to you. What do you want to know about photography? Would you like to photograph the Grand Tetons, Southern France, or Patagonia? It can be an afternoon in wine country, a week in Yosemite, or a few weeks in Europe. Your choice.

Gather a Group and Save Money

If you get others to join you, you can create a custom workshop for about the same cost as a regular workshop.

Workshop Can Take Place any time

Time of year doesn't matter, and you can schedule the workshop for the middle of the week in popular areas to avoid weekend crowds.

Prices listed are for 1 to 2 people.

For price per person, divide cost by number of people.

Workshops can be more than a week for an extra per diem.

Class can exceed 6 people, travel can be extra. Here are the rates:

7 day workshops - 1-2 people $1995 + $550 per additional person

3 day workshops - 1-2 people $995 + $225 per additional person

Afternoon workshops - 1-2 people $395 + $75 per additional person

If want to save money on your custom workshop, Lance can advertise it to see if others want to come. If he gets additional sign-ups, you get a rebate. If the class fills up, your cost per person will be about the same as a regular workshop, and you will have set the itinerary. If you prefer to hire by the hour, you can do that too.

These are suggestions, you can design any workshop you want.

To create a custom workshop:

Contact Lance about where you want to go, when, and for how long. He will then propose an itinerary for you. Once you approve an itinerary, you pay half the fee to reserve the workshop.

At your discretion, he can make it part of the regularly scheduled workshops and advertise for more participants. If additional people sign up, your cost goes down.

All workshops are for every skill level, from beginner to expert. Beginners will practice using their camera with guidance. Advanced photographers can concentrate on exploring new locations to photograph.

Those in between can always ask questions when they need advice.
