This is only 10 miles from my studio, and it was a rare occasion for me to get up at sunrise to photograph with a friend of mine before leading a workshop later in the day. I asked if I could try her macro lens for a couple of shots, this was one of them. Nice lens.

I used an Instagram filter to bring detail back to the sky, but it is essentially a straight photograph. This is the same location as "Light and Shadow" (which is another strong image in the Marin Gallery).
