Mendocino

 

The Mendocino-Fort Bragg area abounds with beautiful places to photograph. There is the sea, the forests, harbors, Victorian houses, lighthouses, as well as several parks to choose from, not to mention the Lost Coast.

 

The Seasons

 

Fall

The early part of fall has the mildest weather along the coast. The chances for great sunsets are relatively high.

 

Winter

You take a chance when shooting at this time, but dramatic weather can give you dramatic results.

 

Spring

It takes time to arrive, but by May, spring is in full bloom. The skies are usually clear in the afternoon since summer fog has not arrived.

 

Summer

It almost never rains, but the afternoons can be foggy.
