I often stand at the shore in Point Reyes and watch the waves come crashing in. No two waves are alike, which adds to the challenge of creating a strong composition. Here, I was trying to capture the green glow in the backlit waves. I love how this image captures the dynamic energy of the water.

People think of the sea as blue, but that is just a reflection from the sky. The sea is actually green.
