The Palouse region of eastern Washington/western Idaho is fertile ground for photography, as well as agriculture. This particular image reminds me a bit of the painters Andrew Wyeth or Edward Hopper with its sparse color scheme and simple composition.

Sometimes simple is the best way to go.
