Ridgetop Trail

Photographed on Halloween afternoon along the Big Rock Trail, just behind Skywalker Ranch, “Ridgetop Trail” captures the quiet beauty of a golden California evening. The old wooden fence, the worn path, and the dry hills glowing under the late soft light tell a story of simpler times and wide-open places.

I made this photograph not long before nightfall, rushing home soon afterwards to pass out candy before the darkness settled in.
