Sun-kissed Vines

I rarely photograph vineyards in the summertime—the light can be harsh and the vines too full for my usual taste. But this vineyard in the Russian River Valley stopped me in my tracks. Something about the way the rows flowed up the hillside, bathed in late afternoon light, felt just right. The vines were glowing, and the geometry of the scene pulled me in.
