Highway One

This is one of my early photographs, taken along Highway One where the road hugs the edge of Tomales Bay. The cypress trees arch overhead like old guardians, framing the curve in the road with a quiet kind of drama. I’ve always loved this spot—it feels like the start of a story, or maybe the pause before something beautiful.
