Veterans Day

This piece is part of my Petaluma Landmarks series and captures a proud moment from the largest Veterans Day parade in the Bay Area. Every year, on November 11th—no matter what day of the week it falls on—Petaluma honors service members with tradition, reverence, and small-town charm.

I photographed this scene to reflect that spirit: crisp uniforms, bold flags, and the unmistakable unity of a community paying tribute. The painterly treatment adds depth and emotion to an already powerful moment.
